Multitasking can be very hard at times. While working at your office, sometimes you have multiple assignments and deadlines which can overwhelm you. It is important to manage all the tasks and multitask sometimes to get things done in your office. The more important thing is to multitask your work in an efficient order so that every task gets a good result. Multitasking should lead to better results and not everything going to vain. So, we are going to talk about techniques that can master your multitasking skills.
Planning and setting goals- Multitasking starts with planning the task and its goals. You should plan your tasks and write down their goals. Start with picking a time limit and doing the tasks in that time period to successfully complete of assignments. Set a goal about how many tasks you have to do at one time and determine their importance and try doing those tasks within the set time limit.

Reduce distractions- Distractions can ruin everything. They can destroy your concentration for even doing the simplest tasks. Try eliminating them by ruling them one by one. Distractions like texts popping up on phone, phone calls, friends or employee calling for little breaks in between, distracting surrounding sounds like people talking, radio/tv in distance, landline phone ringing, etc. now I will not say to switch off your phone because sometimes you might have an emergency at your home, and you do not want your loved ones to worry. Reducing distractions can lead up to fast tasks completing with full concentration and efficient results.

Take breaks- As important it is to multitask and be done with all the tasks it also important not to feel ambushed by the workload. When you set a time limit for tasks takes small breaks in between to not feel stressed. Talk a small walk, use your phone to check social media, do not skip lunch, eat healthily and keep yourself hydrated.

Prioritizing important tasks- Prioritizing the tasks is very important to get them done in time with no stress. It will be beneficial if we set them in categories like if the task is important and urgent if it is only important and not urgent, and if it is urgent but not important. This way it will be easier to get things done according to their urgency and importance in time with efficiency. In my personal experience, I can multitask better if I plan everything on a paper in advance with prioritizing my urgent and important stuff with a time limit and all resources and research needed for that.
